In this episode we hear a set from Ryan Sutton, and then I give him some feedback and also read constructive comments from other members. Then we hear a set from Matt Hutson, and if you have helpful things to say about it just click on THIS LINK: https://tinyurl.com/y7foku2y
Welcome to the fifth episode of "Comedy Critique".
What I'm trying to do is create a space where ComCom Insiders can give feedback to newer acts who'd appreciate a slightly more in-depth conversation with their audience.
In this episode we hear a set from Ryan Sutton, and then I give him some feedback and also read constructive comments from other members.
Then we hear a set from Matt Hutson, and if you have helpful things to say about it just click on THIS LINK: https://tinyurl.com/y7foku2y
It'll direct you to join something called the "Comcompod workspace" (on a little forum app called "Slack"). You navigate to the channel called "#ComedyCritique" and there you can join in the conversation about Charlie's work.
You need to click the "Channels" heading on the left (the heading itself, not the + next to it) to browse the other available channels, and select #ComedyCritique. Then in the next episode we'll hear Matt's set again with all of our feedback attached, and another new set from the next comic!
** If you're a newer act (probably of about at least one year's experience) and you'd like to be considered for this sort of thing, then just say message me via the workspace and I'll add you to the list. **
What I'm going for is a sort of useful and interesting thing whereby a newer act gets some constructive criticism from people who really love comedy, as well as having their work heard by a few more people, and you all get to be a bit more involved in a comic's creative development.
Enjoy!
